Our music is old-time Appalachian string band music. We've got some recordings available and we perform in concert at coffeehouses and festivals and we play for dances and parties in the Philadelphia and greater southeastern Pennsylvania area and beyond. While there is definitely a "dark" side to old-time music, Run of the Mill String Band tends to focus more on the upbeat facets of the music (okay, the "good-times" as opposed to the "bad-times").
